If owning a normal Bentley Continental GT doesn’t make you feel special enough, then perhaps this ultra-rare Bentley from Touring Superleggera will be up your alley. The bespoke Bentley is going up for auction in Paris in early February, where it’s expected to sell for between €300,000 (~$315,000) and €400,000 (~$420,000).
This special Shooting Brake version of the Continental is known as the Flying Star and started life as a regular Continental GTC Convertible. Shortly after being delivered, it was sent to Touring Superleggera and thoroughly overhauled, turning it into the eye-catching two-door wagon you see before you. Incredibly, the conversion cost €343,000 (~$360,000), excluding the price of the donor vehicle. If pre-auction estimates prove accurate, the original owner won’t make any money on the car despite its rarity.

Turning the convertible into a Shooting Brake, Touring Superleggera crafted a bespoke fixed roof and extended the doors by an inch. The rear end now features elliptical taillights and a bespoke tailgate. RM Sotheby’s says the owner also had a bespoke luggage set crafted to match it, which will be included in the sale. The conversion took more than 4,000 hours to craft.
Touring Superleggera only built 19 examples of the special Flying Star, each with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 thumping out 552 hp. This one has only been driven 7,467 km (4,639 miles) and appears to be in excellent condition. The interior, in particular, looks to be immaculate, and while some of the wood veneer looks a little dated, the tan-colored leather has aged gracefully and only shows a few cracks and creases.
